West Bromwich Albion utility Steven Reid admits he's planning for a coaching career.
The 31-year-old right-back is currently earning his UEFA B licence at Aston Villa's Bodymoor Heath training ground.
But Reid laughed off suggestions he was completing the course in order to apply for the vacant head coach's role at The Hawthorns!
"I'm not sure about that one," he joked with the Albion website.
"I've had some banter on Twitter, but I think this is a process I'm going to be involved in for a few years.
"I'll see if I enjoy coaching and then see if I want to continue down that line once I finish playing.
"I've done a little bit of work in the media and now I've started getting my coaching badges, so I'm just giving myself the options for either media or coaching work once I've stopped playing."
