David Oldfield is set to leave his job as West Bromwich Albion U21 coach.
The Birmingham Mail says Oldfield is set to leave Albion to become MK Dons' head of academy coaching.
Oldfield has been the Senior Professional Development Coach at The Hawthorns or the past three years.
Albion Director of Football Administration Richard Garlick praised 46-year-old Oldfield for his contribution since joining the club in July 2011.
"David has been a great servant to the club during his time with us.
"His dedication to working with our younger players at The Hawthorns has been unstinting.
"But due to family and professional reasons he feels the move to MK Dons is an opportunity he cannot miss - and we wish him all the best for the future."
