West Bromwich Albion's number one managerial target Ralf Rangnick is now being linked with the Belgium job.
The German tactician has emerged as a key Baggies target in the past few weeks following a number of talks with the West Midlands club but his name is now being strongly linked with the Belgium national team who are considering replacing interim boss Marc Wilmots.
It is believed that Rangnick is at the top of West Brom's list but if he happens to turn down a move to The Hawthorns, Albion will turn to such candidates as Alan Curbishley, Liverpool no.2 Steve Clarke, Manchester United assistant Mike Phelan and former Baggies assistant Michael Appleton.
