West Bromwich Albion are eyeing Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert.

The Daily Star Sunday says Baggies boss Tony Pulis wants an experienced target man to give Albion another dimension.

Pulis may offload Victor Anichebe, 26, while the club is expecting renewed interest in highly-rated Saido Berahino, 21.

Lambert, 33, has barely figured for Liverpool since his dream switch from Southampton last summer.

The scouser turned down a move to Aston Villa on deadline day in January and new Villa boss Tim Sherwood is unlikely to revive that deal.
