West Bromwich Albion striker Chris Wood is looking forward to turning out for Brighton against FA Cup opponents Stoke City.
Wood was brought up by football-mad Kiwi dad Grant and English mum Julie.
Grant followed Chelsea home and away when he spent time in England.
And he is thrilled his son has been coached by Blues legends Roberto Di Matteo at West Brom and now Gus Poyet at Brighton.
But the striker told the Daily Star: "Mum wouldn't let dad just have 'Chelsea' so she got the 'y' on the end instead."
And he added: "There's no real pressure on Brighton to win this game.
"Most people have us down to lose so we're all underdogs to start off. That's what we like."
