West Bromwich are chasing Lille attacker Salomon Kalou.
The Sun says Baggies boss Steve Clarke will step up his bid to sign ex-Chelsea striker Kalou, 28.
Kalou is also wanted by West Ham United and Clarke hopes to sign the Ivorian this week.
