West Bromwich Albion are in contact with AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia.
The 32 year-old comes off contract next month and will leave Milan after four years with the club.
Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla says West Brom have made an approach to Amelia about continuing his career in England next season.
The 2006 World Cup winner would arrive as experienced cover for WBA No1 Ben Foster.
