New West Bromwich Albion signing Jason Davidson is delighted with his move from Heracles Almelo.
Despite having his arrival delayed by almost a month, Davidson insists he will be ready for the start of the Premier League season on August 16.
"As a footballer you have to play with the cards you're dealt," said Davidson.
"I would have liked this situation to be dealt with earlier, but I was at the World Cup so I haven't lost that much fitness.
"So now it's about working hard for the next two weeks to show the boss what I can do."
