West Bromwich Albion is likely to miss out on Hapoel Tel Aviv forward Itay Shechter.
The Baggies were hoping to bring in the Israel international for around £2.5million but recent reports suggest that he will end up in the German Bundesliga.
Both Hannover and Kaiserslautern are believed to be locked in a battle for the 24-year old who has so far spent his entire career in his homeland.
