West Brom set for West Ham defender Oxford after Augsburg failure

West Bromwich Albion are set to move for Reece Oxford from West Ham United.

It was expected that Oxford would move to Augsburg. However, the move has collapsed, as the player wanted a relegation clause with the Bundesliga club.

Oxford feels if Augsburg are relegated he should be able to move for a modest fee.

However, the Telegraph states it is a clause they will not add, which means the move is almost off.

And it has left the window open for West Brom, who recently appointed Slaven Bilic as manager, to swoop in for the 20-year-old.
