West Brom's Dorrans looking forward to Norwich loan

Graham Dorrans intends to help ChampionshipNorwich City secure an immediate return to the Premier League after arriving on a one-month loan deal from West Bromwich Albion. "They've been on a good run and it suggests they can push on and get back up," the 27 year old told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"Everybody wants to play in the Premier League. I came here with the view of getting back to the Premier League."

He continued: "Hopefully we can do that.

"Speaking to Alex Neil on the phone, you could see the desire and passion he has got as a manager. That was another thing which helped me to come down here."

Norwich are currently sixth in the Championship table, but just seven points behind league leaders Middlesbrough. The former Livingston player was in discussions about a switch to Carrow Road during the January transfer window, but the move broke down on deadline day.

"I found myself out of favour under the new manager, which happens in football," he said.

"I did come down and it was a bit frustrating. It was a long day for it to not go through.

"I don't know the ins and outs of why it broke down so I went back into training and kept myself fit.

"I'm glad it's sorted now and I can concentrate on the next few months here."
