West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino admits his England call-up this week was a major surprise.
The 21-year old, who has seven Premier League goals this season, was included in Roy Hodgson's squad for an upcoming Euro2016 qualifier with Slovenia and friendly with Scotland and says it was a massive thrill to receive the news.
"I couldn't believe it. Even driving to the training ground it still all seems like a dream," said Berahino.
"My mum was in the living room and she saw the news on the telly. So I actually heard about it just like everybody else did.
"Obviously there were rumours flying around that I might be in the squad. When I got into training all the lads shook my hand and told me to make sure I stay focused."
Berahino will get the chance to make his Three Lions debut, as will Southampton full-back Nathaniel Clyne, when they take on Slovenia at Wembley on November 15.
