West Bromwich Albion are aiming to close a deal for Dundee United youngster Scott Allan.
Skysports.com says the Baggies lodged a bid with Dundee United last week, which this was rejected, although their interest remains.
Manchester United, Newcastle United and Old Firm giants Celtic and Rangers are all keen on the talented midfielder, who only made his SPL debut this term.
