West Bromwich Albion are set to promote from within to replace departing football chief Dan Ashworth.
The Daily Mail says Richard Garlick, West Bromwich Albion's legal director, is to be appointed as successor to Ashworth as the club's sporting and technical director.
Garlick, 36, who was on Rotherham's books as a junior before qualifying as a lawyer specialising in sporting disputes, will work alongside Ashworth until he leaves The Hawthorns in the summer to become the FA's director of elite development.
