West Bromwich Albion are in transfer talks for Heracles Almelo for fullback Jason Davidson.
The Birmingham Mail says the Baggies have been keen on the left-back for a while but held back from their pursuit due to a dispute between the Australia international and Heracles.
Albion have now sought to end the stalemate between the player and Heracles, with the two clubs holding discussions earlier on Wednesday.
The Baggies will be expected to pay a small fee for the defender.
