West Brom No1 Foster: Clarke similar to Hodgson

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster says there's little noticeable differences between manager Steve Clarke and predecessor Roy Hodgson.

Foster claims the shuffle at the top has been a seamless one - mainly because the methods and tactics of the two coaches are virtually identical.

"The way the new manager likes us to play is quite similar, to be honest," he said. "He likes us to get the ball down, pass it about and for us to press high up the pitch.

"That's something they share and the lads appreciate it because it's a very similar team ethic. The manager here just goes about his business - he's very low key - and it's the same with the players.

"We've got no real stars here who try to grab the headlines. We're a tight team with a lot of players who really like to work and grind out results.

"We're not a flashy team. The like-minded people here were another reason why I joined."
