West Bromwich Albion defender Joe Mattock wants to extend his loan stay at ChampionshipPortsmouth past January. The 21 year old England U21 international arrived at Fratton Park on 24 November having worked with Pompey boss Michael Appleton at the Hawthorns.
"I'm really comfortable down here. I've got my girlfriend with me so I'm not on my own," he added.
"It's been a difficult 15 months really, but being here and around this team and enjoying it, hopefully I can get back in the England set-up." "They are good lads and they've looked after me well, so I'm looking to stay here," Mattock told BBC Radio Solent.
