West Bromwich Albion are launching a bid for Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.
The Sun says the Baggies hope to land Marchetti for £4 million.
The Italy international was his country's World Cup No1 in the summer and attracted interest from Arsenal.
But he has spent the first-half of the season in the stands after a contract dispute with Cagliari.
