West Brom make statement after FA Cup fans incident

West Bromwich Albion Football Club issued a statement regarding Sunday's crowd incident.

The FA Cup clash between West Brom and Wolves on Sunday was delayed by nearly an hour at the 78th minute.

Referees paused the game as there were unsavory incidents in the stands between the two sets of fans.

West Brom, whose fans are said to have initiated the altercation, released a statement that included the following:

“The club will work with West Midlands Police and the Football Association to fully investigate the incidents which resulted in a suspension to the game.

“Any individual involved in the disorder will be subject to a club ban, in addition to potential criminal investigation.

“The club will make no further comment until the conclusion of a full and thorough investigation."
