West Bromwich Albion are tracking Benfica defender André Almeida.
The 23 year-old centre-half is known to Baggies coach Pepe Mel and a deal could be struck before Friday's transfer deadline.
A Bola says West Brom have already made an offer to take Almeida on-loan to the end of the season.
Almeida has already given his approval to the move.
