West Brom land Sunderland's Sessegnon

West Bromwich Albion have signed Stephane Sessegnon from Sunderland on a three-year deal.

The 29-year old Benin playmaker has joined for a club-record fee of what is believed to be around £6million.

Sessegnon passed a medical this afternoon and will wear the No.29 shirt.

Sessegnon had been heavily linked with El-Jaish SC but has now completed his move to Albion which would excite Baggies fans after the club exceeded the amount they spent on Shane Long from Reading in August 2011.
