West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster was delighted for manager Alan Irvine after their win at Tottenham.
The England goalkeeper has been frustrated by Albion's slow start but is keen to remind the critics that they're not that far away from reaching top form..
And he is highlighting Irvine's meticulous planning as one of the reasons behind the Baggies' revival..
Foster told the Express & Star: "I think we've had periods this season when we've played some good football and things just haven't gone our way, but on Sunday we were fantastic from start to finish..
"We knew exactly what we were going to do. We watched a lot of videos of Tottenham and how they play..
"In their game against Queens Park Rangers last week for example, they were flying out of the blocks quickly and were up to speed in no time..
"So we knew what to expect but, fair play to the lads in front of me, especially the two centre-backs, because they were great. The gaffer has come in and been absolutely fantastic..
"All of the lads have bought into his ideas and he is a very personable guy. He gets on very well with everybody and everybody is really happy for him, now we have got this result..
"It's like it's a bit of a monkey off his back."
