Reports suggest that West Bromwich Albion are looking at the possibility of taking Udinese's Matej Vydra on a season-long loan.
The 21-year old Czech Republic striker starred on loan for Watford last season, scoring 22 goals on his way to the Championship Player of the Year award.
West Ham United, Swansea City, Sunderland and Norwich City have all shown interest but the Baggies' scope for improvement excites Vydra.
"West Brom have made a bid and they interest Matej," said a source close to the former Banik Ostrava youngster.
"He is focused on Udinese but West Brom are a club he would like to join. We have heard good things about (Albion manager) Steve Clarke from other players.
"West Brom are clearly a club going places."
