West Bromwich Albion have handed two youngsters new contracts.
Defender/midfielder Liam O'Neil has been rewarded for his progress by signing his first professional contract and defender Cameron Gayle has been handed a one-year extension.
Both players' new deals mean they will remain at The Hawthorns until June 2013, with a further year's option in the club's favour.
However, the Baggies have informed Paul Downing they will not be activating their one-year option on him. He has therefore been released.
