West Bromwich Albion are closing in on the signing of Matt Phillips.
The Daily Mail suggests that Albion has agreed a £5.5million fee with QPR for the 25-year-old winger.
Phillips, who did not reveal with the London club to Holland for the pre-season tour, is desperate to return to the Premier League and the R's are also keen to rid themselves of his £25,000-a-week wages.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis has been tracking the Scotland international for a couple of years and finally looks set to land his man ahead of the West Midlands club's summer training camp in Austria which kicks off later in the week.
