West Brom defender Olsson admits he deserved his red against Man Utd

West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson admits he deserved his red in defeat to Manchester United.

The disappointed centre-half received his marching orders from referee Lee Probert on 66 minutes after two yellows in 17 minutes, with the Baggies a goal down.

"The second booking was a stupid challenge from me and I should know better," Olsson told the WBA website.

"I thought maybe the first yellow was a bit hard.

"But I think I'm experienced enough to think about my decision-making with the second challenge.

"I'm very disappointed with that on a personal level and disappointed that we lost the game after such a good run lately.

"If you look at the game United were the better team and they deserved to win."
