West Bromwich Albion are close to completing a deal for Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.

The Sun reports that Albion can get the 29-year old for £4.5m.

Ranocchia has chosen to join the Baggies over Huddersfield, who recently had shown interest in the Italian.

The former Genoa man spent last season on loan with Hull City.
