West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel has swooped for Espanyol striker Thievy Bifouma.

West Brom have signed Bifouma on loan until the end of the season, the Spanish club have announced.

The France Under-21 international joins from the Primera Division side, who have netted a total fee of almost £500,000.
