West Bromwich Albion captain Darren Fletcher has heaped praise on teammate Claudio Yacob.

Fletcher says the Argentine was his Player of the Year.

"Since I've been at the club, playing alongside him in midfield, I think his performances have been excellent - winning the ball back, aggressive and allowing the likes of me and Mozza (James Morrison) to go and play," said Fletcher.

Defender Craig Dawson also voted for the Argentine: "He's an unsung hero. He works hard in front of the back four and protects the back four well."
