West Brom boss Pulis: Berahino saw Man Utd? Brilliant!

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis insists they fielded no offers in January for Saido Berahino.

Albion's England prospect has 18 goals this term and has publicly stated his wish to move to a bigger club this summer.

Berahino was spotted at Old Trafford on Monday for Manchester United's FA Cup defeat to Arsenal.

But Pulis said: "Yeah, he went to a game didn't, he? He went to watch Man United play? Brilliant.

"We didn't have one phone call about Saido in the transfer window.

"Saido's been brilliant. His attitude is first class. He was in my room again this week, having a cup of tea with me. He's been first class.

"He's really got his head in gear, concentrating on what he should be, which is his football.

"There's always going to be speculation. He's got what, 18 goals this season? Which for a 21-year-old is a wonderful return. So he's got lots of talent and the most important thing for him to do is keep producing that talent and we'll see what happens from there.

"We've got 10 games left. Come and see me at the end of the season and I'll tell you how hard it's going to be to keep him."
