West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel wasn't surprised by Rene Meulensteen's sacking at Fulham last week.
Mel said that Meulensteen's exit was unsurprising, citing his former club Real Betis as an example.
"Our work is dangerous," he said, "It's the same in every country.
"When I left Betis, the next coach only had 40 days. It's the same here.
"In Spain, people say England is different because (Sir Alex) Ferguson had 25 years. But there's only Ferguson and Wenger. That's just two.
"I'm sure my road with West Brom will be long. I'm sure of that. We won't be relegated - never. It's not possible."
