West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is delighted with the attitude of new signing Romelu Lukaku.

The Chelsea striker has joined on-loan.

"Romelu wants to work," Clarke told the WBA website. "He's already asking me for extra shooting sessions and he hasn't even started training yet.

"That tells you he has a hunger to learn.

"I was impressed when I spoke to him because he just wants to play football, improve himself and get better.

"His ultimate ambition is to play in the first team at Chelsea and if we can help him to do that then great."
