West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is confident they won't lose Morgan Amalfitano.
Albion have the option to sign him permanently from Marseille should they wish to do so.
Clarke is very relaxed about the situation: "Morgan is under contract with us. We're in control of that contract, so that's pleasing.
"He showed good composure and a fantastic finish with his goal.
"I've been impressed with Morgan.
"He's come in, he understands more (English) than he lets on. When you tell him he's done well he always understands - when he doesn't do so well, he doesn't!
"He's a player who we'd seen on many occasions. He has the flair, but he always does the defensive job too."
