West Bromwich Albion have released four players and exercised new one-year contracts with five others, reports SkySports. Left-back pairing Nicky Shorey and Joe Mattock have left the club, along with midfielder Somen Tchoyi and striker Lateef Elford-Alliyu.
But the Baggies have kept strikers Marc-Antoine Fortune and Simon Cox, midfielders Romaine Sawyers and Jerome Thomas as well as defender Luke Daniels on one-year deals.
