West Bromwich Albion have announced Chris Brunt has been hit by injury.
Brunt will be sidelined for up to 10 weeks after scans confirmed he broke his ankle during the Barclays Premier League clash with Everton on New Year's Day.
West Brom announced in a statement on Thursday evening: "Chris Brunt will undergo surgery tomorrow after scans confirmed he fractured his right ankle against Everton. He will be out for between eight to 10 weeks."
