West Bromwich Albion are preparing to eventually sell Saido Berahino.
The People says his representatives are due to meet Baggies officials to discuss his future.
Berahino currently earns £12,000-a-week but the West Midlands club are looking to reward the 21-year-old front man for his impressive form in front of goal.
They plan to hand him improved terms and extend his stay at the Hawthorns beyond 2017.
The new contract will ensure West Brom can secure a better transfer fee for Berahino when he does eventually leave - with Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton all monitoring his progress.
