Liverpool have distanced themselves from reports linking them with Werder Bremen hot-shot Aaron Hunt, reports the Liverpool Echo. The German media had claimed he Reds were preparing a January swoop for the 23-year-old.
The same reports also suggested Rafa Benitez was preparing to tempt Bremen into doing business early by using Ryan Babel as part of a swap deal.
However, the player is not on boss Rafa Benitez's January shopping list and the club do not anticipate conducting any major business when the transfer window opens in the New Year.
