Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he won't hand-pick his successor.
Manchester United have struggled this season after Sir Alex Ferguson chose former Everton boss David Moyes to replace him.
They are seventh, trailing leaders Chelsea by 18 points.
"I always said, and you can check that, everybody has his job," Wenger added.
"My job is to do well for the team, not to do anything else."
When it was pointed out Fergie had done it at United, the Frenchman replied: "?Who tells you that Fergie has done that? I don't know.?"
