Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits he was unaware he is approaching his 900th game in charge of the North London club.
The Frenchman, who took the reins as a relative unknown in 1996, will oversee game number 900 when the Gunners host Norwich City on Saturday and he says he didn't even know the milestone was set to occur.
"You always have so much focus on the next one that you forget the games that are behind you.
"It is impressive, 900 games, but basically what is only important for me is to win the next one.""Yes [I am surprised] because I don't know where the other 899 have gone!" he told Arsenal Player.
