Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. The Mirror says Wenger is ready to pounce after being made aware of Gundogan's potential availability in a £16m deal.
Gunners boss Wenger is a long time admirer of the German international and has come close to signing him TWICE in the past.
Dortmund want Gundogan - who has just 18 months left on his current deal - to commit himself to a new contract or they are prepared to sell him in the summer. But it is believed agents are sounding out potential clubs in January and Arsenal are now watching developments closely.
