Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will resist the temptation to field a purely senior side for this week's Carling Cup meeting with Shrewsbury Town.
The out-of-form Gunners host the League Two outfit tomorrow night and Wenger will make sure he has a good mix of both youthful and experienced players rather than go for an established line-up to avoid a potential disaster following their 4-3 loss to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
"I will be faithful to our policy but I will try to find a good mixture between youth and experience," he said.
"You will see the likes of Ryo (Miyachi) and (Alex) Oxlade-Chamberlain. You should be excited about Oxlade-Chamberlain because he is a great talent.
"My target is to develop him so he confirms the expectation I have for him."
