Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sees a lot of his own planning in Olympique Marseille.
Wenger has praised the long-term transfer strategy of OM.
"OM have developed based on long-term recruitment. Marseille is a fairly simple club. Marseille's leaders know that in the short-term, they cannot fight against PSG and AS Monaco.
"So they said, let's fight for two, three seasons playing for the future.
"I knew well the same was needed at Arsenal. They know they cannot buy Robin Van Persie, so they want to ensure that these future great players grow up at home."
