Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has denied claims that the club have reached an agreement with Anderlecht for talented striker Matias Suarez.
The 23-year old Argentine has been heavily linked with the Gunners in recent weeks but Wenger has made it clear that nothing has been done between the two clubs.
"No, that's (all) not true," he said.
Furthermore, Suarez himself has denied that a possible shift to North London was ever on the cards.
"I don't know where the story has come from that I will be joining Arsenal this winter, but I can formally deny it.
"My bosses are well aware of what I want and that is to stay at Anderlecht for now. I'm still learning and that's another reason why I don't want to leave.""I want to, at the very least, finish the job that I started and that is helping the team to win the title, which is what everyone deserves," he said in De Standaard.
