Arsenal's Danny Welbeck is facing a race against time to prove his fitness for this weekend's clash with Swansea City.
The 24-year old forward missed Monday's 3-1 win over Hull City with a knee problem and according to manager Arsene Wenger, has failed to return to training since, which places him in doubt for Monday's visit of the Swans.
"Welbeck is doing better, but he is still not in training, he has missed now more than a week," he told the club's official website.
"There is no major damage, but we have to see how it progresses over the next two or three days."
Welbeck has scored four goals in 25 Premier League outings in his debut season with the Gunners since arriving from Manchester United.
