Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann has given himself every chance of remaining in the starting line-up according manager Alex McLeish.
The 20-year old Austrian scored a brilliant goal in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Stoke City when he received a pass from Stephen Ireland before curling a superb shot into Asmir Begovic's far corner.
Weimann has now scored two vital goals for Villa in his last five appearances and his form suggests that he may get more game time in the final six matches of the campaign.
"He's maneuvered himself into the corner and it's a wonderful goal from a great young prospect.
"He is a finisher and a good finisher at that, as you saw from that one.
"Some players are great goalscorers while others are scorers of great goals. Andi proved he can be both. Goals talk. It will be hard to leave him out.""It was a fantastic strike. We needed a wee bit of inspiration at that time," McLeish said.
