Sheffield Wednesday have signed a sponsorship deal with Leeds Bradford Airport, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The agreement will see the locally based facility become the official airport of second-tier Wednesday, whose fans will benefit from ticketing promotions and competitions.

"Leeds Bradford Airport is a strong and successful regional airport serving the business and leisure sectors," said Sheffield Wednesday chief operating officer Paul Bell.

"The airport has grown rapidly over recent years with new airlines and routes and this partnership will see a range of activities and competitions in which our supporters can participate."
