Sheffield Wednesday boss Gary Megson enthused over the support received in the Steel City derby with Sheffield United on Sunday. Wednesday trailed 2-0 with 10 minutes remaining at Bramall Lane, but late headers from Chris O'Grady and Gary Madine sent 4,300 Owls supporters delirious.
Owls boss Megson said afterwards: "It was nothing less than the fans deserved.
"I said to the players before the game that they would find out what playing for Sheffield Wednesday is all about.
"Our supporters are so loud at times, it was like being back at Hillsborough. I thought they were absolutely magnificent."
