Howard Webb will take charge of Manchester United's home FA Cup tie with Chelsea.
His appointment at Old Trafford often creates a storm on social media sites as a result of Ryan Babel's controversial tweet in 2011, which resulted in the Dutchman becoming the first professional footballer to be censured for comments made on Twitter.
On that occasion, Babel posted the below picture on Twitter of Webb wearing a United shirt after he awarded a penalty against Liverpool and sent off Steven Gerrard during an FA Cup tie.
To the images, he added: 'And they call him one of the best referees? That's a joke. SMH [shaking my head].'
Babel was fined £10,000 after pleading guilty to a charge of improper conduct at an FA hearing at Wembley.
