David Beckham believes it would be careless of he and his LA Galaxy teammates to try and protect their three-goal lead in the MLS Western Conference playoff second leg next Sunday.
The Galaxy beat Seattle Sounders 3-0 at The Home Depot Center on the weekend and will now head to CenturyLink Field to try and progress to the MLS Final for the second year running.
Beckham knows that the Sounders are a very difficult opponent so he feels it is important if the reigning MLS champions continue to go about their business the way they have been all season.
"The same approach that we took for this game," said Beckham when asked which approach the LA side would take in Seattle.
"We're not going to sit on the lead that we have. It's important that we still play our soccer and play it like we can.
"But obviously, we're in a very good position. We don't want to concede too quickly in the game, hopefully not at all. It's going to be a tough one."
