Brown Ideye says it is vital for West Bromwich Albion to bounce back from their midweek defeat to arch rivals Aston Villa.
The Baggies were beaten 2-1 at Villa Park on Tuesday night after Christian Benteke converted a 94th-minute penalty in the West Midlands derby which prompted suggestions from Villa boss Tim Sherwood that his opponents are just a small club.
However, Ideye is targeting redemption in this weekend's FA Cup quarter-final as Albion prepare to meet the Villans at the same venue.
"I think it's not the right thing to say," he told the Daily Mail.
"I guess if he sees us as a small club and Villa as a big club and on Tuesday we lost, then he will have the upper hand to say what he wants.
"To make him realise West Brom is far higher than Villa we have to win. We have a game where we can redeem our image by winning."
